Exchange rules — read first

Peer-to-peer personal items only, and occasional sales only. Military Postal Service rules prohibit operating a commercial business through an APO/FPO — so no storefronts, no inventory, no reselling operations. Helping someone out now and then is exactly what this board is for; running a shop through military mail is not.
MilAnswers hosts the board only and never handles payment. Settle person-to-person, however you two agree.
HOW TO CONNECT: this board has no private messages, so include a way to reach you IN YOUR POST if you want responses — an email address you are comfortable posting publicly (a dedicated or throwaway address is smart) or a social handle. Never post your unit mailing address, box number, or ship movement details publicly — exchange mailing addresses privately AFTER you have connected.
PHOTOS: posts are text-only. Describe the item; swap photos privately once you are in contact.
Before you mail anything, use the shipping guide at /kb/military-mail/fpo-apo-shipping and run the destination ZIP through the restriction lookup at /tools/military-mail-restrictions. Restrictions are per-ZIP and change every two weeks.
Nonmailable items are prohibited to list: vapes, alcohol to restricted ZIPs, firearms. Posts offering or requesting them won't clear review.
How to post an ISO request

ISO means In Search Of. Someone near a stocked exchange can only help you if your post tells them three things — use this template:
1. What you need — item, size, quantity, and any acceptable substitutes.
2. Your region — FPO AE, FPO AP, or FPO AA, your APO region, or "underway ship" if your mail waits on a Fleet Mail Center.
3. Pay or trade — what you're offering: cost plus shipping reimbursed, or a trade for something you can get locally.
4. How to reach you — there are no private messages here, so include a publicly-postable email or handle, or your request can't get answers.
Mail between military addresses is domestic-rate but not fast — anything involving an underway ship commonly runs 3-6 weeks, so say how urgent it is.
